Benefits Advice for those aged 65+

Working with the charity Independent Age, we're delivering advice to those aged 65+ to help increase their income.

Our Income Maximisation 65+ project can support you with a range of benefit issues  

  • Checking eligibility for benefits

  • Help applying for Pension Credit, Attendance Allowance, Carer's Allowance, Universal Credit (if mixed-age couple), Housing Benefit, Council Tax Support, AA, PIP and DLA reviews

  • Challenging decisions – Mandatory reconsiderations and appeals to Tribunal

  • If you need advice on other issues such as consumer, family law or immigration, please contact our general advice service.
