Citizens Advice Liverpool is a trusted local independent charity and part of the wider Citizens Advice service. We are Liverpool’s leading provider of advice and advocacy services and exist to improve lives by providing free, independent, quality-assured, accessible advice, and by using what we learn from people’s lived experience to improve the systems and policies that shape their lives.
Our General Advice team is only a phone call away and ready to support. We also have a number of specialist teams who can provide advice and help for more complex cases. We take a holistic approach to providing advice and can help you with several issues at a time if necessary.
In January 2026, we moved to a new head office with facilities suitable for our growing service demand. Instead of permanent offices, we’ve increased our drop-in services across venues in the community.
We are here for everyone, whatever the problem.
If you cannot see a way forward, get advice today.
Our charity was established during the aftermath of WWI as a service for Liverpool families in need. We’ve continued to provide advice and support to the people of Liverpool, helping thousands of our community each year.
We are a member of the national Citizens Advice network, which provides the extensive information system we use to advise clients. They also set standards for advice, training, equal opportunities and accessibility within our offices. We are an AQA quality-assured organisation.
We influence local and national policymakers to make change happen in Liverpool and beyond. Our advocacy work aims to help fix problems in society.
