Key Tasks of a Social Media Volunteer

Develop and manage content for our new Snapchat channel. Also may include other social media channels, such as Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

Help create and maintain a social media plan.

Develop publicity materials and communication techniques to target students and other audiences.

Post regular and up-to-date Snapchat & Instagram stories, which will provide useful information that students can use in everyday life and raise awareness of Citizens Advice and its services.

Use social media to promote the activities and achievements of Citizens Advice Liverpool.

Ensure that communication reaches a wide audience.

Attending student events, such as fresher’s fairs and stalls throughout universities and student accommodations, to promote our service.

Keeping up to date with Citizens Advice Liverpool events and news, and choosing what to promote through our social media feeds
