Key Tasks of a Social Media Volunteer

  • Develop and manage content for our new Snapchat channel. Also may include other social media channels, such as Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. 

  • Help create and maintain a social media plan.

  • Develop publicity materials and communication techniques to target students and other audiences.

  • Post regular and up-to-date Snapchat & Instagram stories, which will provide useful information that students can use in everyday life and raise awareness of Citizens Advice and its services.

  • Use social media to promote the activities and achievements of Citizens Advice Liverpool.

  • Ensure that communication reaches a wide audience.

  • Attending student events, such as fresher’s fairs and stalls throughout universities and student accommodations, to promote our service.

  • Keeping up to date with Citizens Advice Liverpool events and news, and choosing what to promote through our social media feeds
