Kickstarting your career with Citizens Advice

Citizens Advice Liverpool are now registered as an employer with the new government Kickstart scheme. The Kickstart scheme provides funding to employers to create job placements for 16 to 24 year olds on Universal Credit.


CAL, along with all Liverpool City Region Citizens Advice offices (including, Halton, Knowsley, Sefton, St Helens and Wirral) will have a number of 6 month paid opportunities available in a range of roles. These will include roles across:

  • Admin

  • Debt advice

  • General Advice,

  • ICT

  • Research and Campaigns


The placements will be a minimum of 25 hours per week, will only require basic training and will receive employability support from us throughout.


Citizens Advice Liverpool are a real Living Wage Employer and all placements will be paid at this rate - above the national minimum for this scheme.
