About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project design, inception, and set-up.

  • Develop and implement a strategic Learning & Development (L&D) approach at the organisational level.

  • Embed a culture of continuous L&D, adopting the 70:20:10 approach.

  • Review and update training for new volunteer advisers.

  • Design tools for continuous professional development for all advisers.

  • Review recruitment and retention strategies for volunteers and staff.

  • Develop a Career Pathways tool with a visual representation of career opportunities and L&D paths.

  • Explore options to sustain positive project outcomes.

  • Monitor and evaluate project processes and impact.

  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and reporting requirements.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in strategic L&D project management, ideally within the non-profit or public sector.

  • Expertise in the 70:20:10 learning model or similar approaches.

  • Strong understanding of workforce development, recruitment, and retention strategies.

  • Ability to design and deliver flexible, engaging learning solutions.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience in creating career progression frameworks and tools.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to evaluate and report on impact.
